We created this space directly for you.... the traveler, backpacker, mountaineer.... as you prefer to call yourself.... that like to move around the world... visiting places, meeting people and making friends that last for years...
With this space, you can share comments, make questions and share tips about traveling around Costa Rica and the whole planet..... our planet... Stayed at Kabata In Nov 05. Talk about a great experiance!! Great people, a good neighborhood, and terrific rooms. I would recomend Kabata to anyone and will be heading back with my family soon!! Chris~Arizona
Kabata Hostel is very warm and friendly. Mauricio is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Costa Rica and outdoor activities. I highly recommend this Hostel to anyone who wants a welcoming family feel to their stay in San Jose!

Hello everyone!!
I stayed the last week for two nights at the kabata Hostel and I just want to tell everyone , how welcoming and nice the people are over there. Mauricio, Federico his mum and kattia are just very nice people who make you feel at home as soon as you step in the hostel. I fully recomend everyone to stay there and visit them. This place is great,I had my wallet stolen on a bus ride wnet into the hostel told them and asked if it would be possible to pay in a few days when my family sent me money, they had no problem with it asked me if they could do anything even have my new cards shipped here and they would help get everything put together for me. One of the best hostels that I have been to and the nicest family for sure. Thanks for all you help..
